Blaupunkt Porsche 911 GT3R

I really enjoy looking at old race car liveries and imagining how they might look on modern race cars. These Porsche 911 GT3R’s are inspired by the Blaupunkt Porsche 962 from the mid-80’s. Blaupunkt is a German audio company started in 1924, when radio was still in its infancy and, whose name translates to “blue point” in English. The blue dot was a symbol that the radio had gone through a strict quality control test and had passed, so looking for the “Blaupunkt” became an automatic.

I couldn’t decide which version of the original 962 looked better, the black or the white, so I did both.

You can race the black Blaupunkt 911 GT3R here and you can race the white Blaupunkt 911 GT3R here.
